Living as a Christian : Using Appropriate Language

James 3:7~12

Especially, in our moments of anger, sadness, frustration, and even fun, we can use very inappropriate language to others. Often times, your tongue can be used to dishonor God. Does your language glorify God? Does your speech compromise God and others in order to make you look good? If you realize that you used bad language to hurt others and it ultimately dishonored God, REPENT! We can’t praise and curse at the same time. Our tongue must produce love, joy, peace, patience, not malice and discord. When God made us, He gave us the capacity for new and holy speech. He commands us to speak in a language in which is holy and right. Are you following God’s commands?
