Rejoice in the Lord Always
How can we be joyful always in our hardest moments? If we put the hardships in our lives, in God's hands then we can be joyful in spite of our situation. Although Paul was in jail and awaiting his death, he trusted God and his choice made him joyful, even though he was facing death. If we want to be joyful in our lives we desperately need the Holy Spirit in our life. We live in a world that constantly surprises us, mostly negatively. Being happy remains a possibility. Society makes us want more things and greedy, but those items are only temporary. God tells us to rejoice. we cannot have joy unless we develop a relationship with God. God will open the door that is meant for you and with this, you can be joyful. Your eternal life cannot influence your relationship with God. Do not trust yourself and do not trust your understanding but rather, follow God. We always have to look to God and trust him to lead and provide, no matter in difficult situations. What is your choice and attitude in facing unexpected situations? In these situations do you face God? You can choose to always think about your weakness, about what you don’t have or you can be filled with the joy of what you have and the gift of God that you have. It is time to figure out who you are and where you stand in our relationship with God.
